Armstrong is a great Cowboy, but he goes in mostly in passing situations with DLaw kicking inside a lot. Not surprising he is second in sacks. I like Armstrong, Fowler, and Williams.

Also, pass rusher is one of those positions you just gotta keep drafting, always look to add additional pass rushers, you never have too many.

Armstrong definitely benefits from a certain player on the team. Good player...but probably more of a Laurent Robinson type then anything.

Exactly. Some team is going to overpay him a lot based on those stats. His only value is as a pass rusher and even then, he's on the line with Parsons and Tank. Should have double digit sacks just based on the fact that he's always 1:1.

He’s a decent player but you can’t pay 7 sack guys unfortunately. If he doesn’t get what he wants on the open market and the price comes down that’s when you go for it

Which is very good for us if an NFL throws the haymaker dollars at Armstrong
- that will enable us a compensatory draft pick.

we'll likely keep adding DEs thru the NFL draft. we'll add another Armstrong.

I don't see him as a core piece at all. He's a complementary one behind two monster DEs.

He's making $7M a season right now, and I don't think I'd go above that.

I'd take Dorance on a similar deal that he's on now, but anything more than that isn't feasible.
