Bill Parcells always said, "You never know anything in the NFL until Thanksgiving." That statement continued to ring true every year he was here.
Facts:
- Thanksgiving is a long ways away.
- The Dallas Cowboys still have a winning record.
- The season isn't even half way over.
- Teams have come back from worse.
Note: This should be said. There is too much talent on this team to achieve at such a low level for the entirety of the season. Add that to the return of injured players, and this team is still very capable of pulling things together to make a run.
I'm not saying that wasn't a horrible performance and it isn't going to be a horrible week, but know that it's still possible to rebound. The 2008-09 Dallas Cowboys may no longer have the opportunity to be the best Super Bowl winning team ever, but there is still a chance to win a Super Bowl.
There's still a chance to fall even further. That may happen, but it's up to them. Nevertheless, the season isn't over.
