Nailed it. Signed with Minnesota. I knew when Rosenhaus was hired the Eagles wouldn't sign the guy.

Free agent Doss, ex-Colts safety, set to visit Birds

The Eagles may not be finished with the free-agent portion of their off-season, and once again they could be looking for a former member of the Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts to help them. Strong safety Mike Doss, a second-round draft pick by the Colts in 2003, is scheduled to visit the Eagles today after spending yesterday with the Minnesota Vikings.
Doss, 26, was limited to six games last season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, which he suffered Oct. 22 in a game against Washington. That's the same day the Colts lost defensive tackle Montae Reagor for the season after he was in a car accident while driving to the game.
Reagor, 29, signed a three-year contract with the Eagles last month, paving the way for the trade that sent defensive tackle Darwin Walker to Buffalo for linebacker Takeo Spikes last week.
Doss, who recently replaced agent Tom Condon with Drew Rosenhaus, started 38 games in his first three seasons with the Colts after being drafted out of Ohio State. He was not a starter, however, at the beginning of last season. He returned to the Colts' starting lineup two games into the season because of a knee injury to safety Bob Sanders. That role was short-lived because of the torn ACL.
It's never a good situation, of course, for a free agent to be looking for work while rehabilitating a serious knee injury, which probably explains why Doss still does not have a job more than a month into the free-agent period. He also has some baggage from the past. He was suspended for the opening game of the 2005 season after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor gun charge in June of that year. The native of Canton, Ohio, was arrested in May 2005 for firing a gun outside a restaurant in Akron, Ohio.
Contrary to some published reports, Doss has not made any previous visits with the Eagles. In addition to his visit with the Vikings yesterday, he made a trip to Tampa Bay during the first week of free agency.
The Eagles need depth at the safety position after allowing strong safety Michael Lewis to leave via free agency. Lewis, who lost his starting job to Sean Considine seven games into last season, signed with San Francisco. Considine, at least for the moment, is the projected starter at strong safety, although there is some belief that he is better equipped to play free safety.
Considine was inserted for Lewis because he was more reliable in coverage situations, but he had problems at times playing against the run. Eagles general manager Tom Heckert said earlier this off-season that Considine is working on adding bulk and weight. The only other safety with NFL experience on the Eagles' roster is Quintin Mikell, who signed a four-year contract extension just before he became eligible for free agency last month. It seems likely that the Eagles will take a safety at some point in the draft later this month.

This is business ...should have nothing to do with personal feelings for Rosenhaus
