Double standard has trickled down to others

Remember how Parcells insists ALL players wear thigh and knee pads to avoid injury? Well of course, "the player" never did, and i have noticed over the past few weeks, Terry Glenn and Aaron Glenn are now part of this group. Terry always wore thigh pads so small, you could barely see them, but if anyone is able to see the game again, look closely at the 'Glenn's'. A few are thinking that this double standard has caused some players to tune out the head coach, but if they are the professionals they're supposed to be, they should be laying it on the line throughout December for the 'ol Coach', themselves, and for home field advantage!

i don't think bp insist's all the players wear knee and thigh pads. he insists all the linemen to wear knee braces. receivers never wear knee or thigh pads because they feel it slows them down.

Yes there is a double standard and it's not just about pads...

Fact is you cannot treat Owens like another player... Many say that's why he and Reid clashed so much. There are things you would yell at any player for that BP will not get on Owens for. For Reid TO got it, just like Greg Lewis would get it. I think Parcells had the right strategy, but the problem becomes how the team reacts to it.
