Yea...he was awful and this was a major part of it. Not sure what else there is to say really.

Hopefully, if his confidence is truly up this year, he wont have to try to get a head start on all these guys, so he wont jump as much. Who knows.

To an extent but then the past can't be changed the future can be. This camp Free has come in and done a good solid job thus far he has worked hard and to think hard work does not change the results is pretty short sighted.

Free is going to surprise some people this season and get back to form. His confidence seems up, as well as his conditioning. With him, at least, I know what he is capable of. Whether he plays better or not, he has in the past. He has a far greater upside than either guard spot IMO.

Now knowing that he can't coast through the season or he could lose his job, he seems to "get it" now. Only time will tell ;)

I just can't get worked up over stuff that happened last season, just as a new season is about to begin. Free's poor 2012 performance is a given and is accepted around the world. However, everything coming out of TC to date suggests he won't repeat that performance. Doesn't mean he'll be pro bowl level, but he should be acceptable.

most of Smith's were offsides penalties early in the season. Back when they were trying to get used to Cook at center.

You can also wallow in the past, instead of noting the past, learning from it, focusing on what's going on currently, and moving towards the future.
