Im always quick to criticize this guy, but he deserves props for a very good game today. I was worried about Ryan Kerrigan, Preston Smith and Trent Murphy rushing from his side. I didn't see any of them get any consistent pressure from the right side. Well done, Free.

True dat... I'm guilty too. We are quick to point out his deficiencies because he's not considered as good as the all-pros beside him but the fact is he ain't that bad.

I was critical of Free in the past and he deserved at the time. Lately he deserves his props, he has been playing very well. I thought it was automatic that he would be cut after this year and Green would be RT in 2017, but now you have to think hard about paying Free the extra 5MM in cap hit for him to return next year. Green having nagging injuries is part of the equation as well.

Just because he's the weak link on the O Line, does not make him bad. He's still one of the better RT's in the league, and more than serviceable.
