What we should do: Play Chaz Green the rest of the way. See what he's got and/or if he's improved, and whether or not we think he has a realistic shot at the RT position next season.

What we will do: Not play Chaz Green the rest of the way. Start Doug Free every game and go into next season not knowing if Chaz Green is a realistic option at RT.

Wow that 3rd round pick is looking worst every time I hear about Chaz Green. I have no clue why they didn't take a runningback.

Green was never drafted to play this season. At best, maybe game day swing tackle. Let's see where he is in TC next summer. He should be squarely in the mix for starting RT by that time.

I am sure Cassel would appreciate being the Judas goat for Green's learning period.

I agree, play Green, see what he has.
What OL has not had issues at some point this year. Has any player not have had an issue this year. Yes, a few were from injuries from TC or early in the season. Like Matin's neck stinger.
Except a few rookie mistakes with Byron Jones. And that is not a knock, he is a rookie learning 4 positions. And has played them all very well.

Going forward...at some point soon. Does not mean next game for every player to play. A few at a time. Until mathematically eliminated on some too. Yes we are done, but the coaches will think until it's official, there is something to play for.

Green at RT.
The last game or 2, Kellen Moore at QB, or in 4th quarter of a few games before that. Heck, even try Showers the last game too. Still need to draft a future QB.
Get Butler some more playing time at WR, for depth.
Rod Smith at RB, for depth, need to draft a stub RB.
Whitehead on KO & PR from here on out. And more involved on offense.
Swaim, need to see him too. Hanna will be a FA.
Nzeocha and wilson at LB, play them over Wilber and Gachkar.
Russell on DL, and more of Irving.
No player really to put in at DB, unless they bring up Tim Scott from the PS.

can't make those changes all at once. But put them in here and there. Possibly all the last game of the season.

Then you haven't been watching the games.

I've been watching the games, and by my count, Tyron Smith has already given up more sacks through 11 games this season than he did all of last season.

I believe somebody posted a graphic here last week that showed he was next to LaAdrian Waddle on the list of sacks allowed. Tyron Smith's name has no business appearing on the same list as LaAdrian Waddle.
