This guy still having a starting position should be a crime. Seriously. He is by far the worse offensive tackle in the game. Its absolutely pathetic that this guy still starts and gets paid as much as he does.

I mean come on. Is that really true? Parnell came in for Tyron Smith and did a solid job. It wasn't nothing spectacular. He made mistakes but Doug Free GETS BULLRUSHED almost every other play. He gets beat on the edge which causes him to hold. He just flat out sucks.

obviously the coaches think Free is the best option. I don't think they're gonna trust a guy who's not used to starting and a second year player at both Tackles.

Parnell should be given a look. Free is just getting completely abused out there. The only effective blocks that guy has is if he gets in the way just enough to have Romo scramble for his life.

The guy just straight up sucks.

Free is beyond bad. Even on most plays he doesnt allow a sack he gets driven way back. It's almost scary how bad he is

If Jason wants to get into the playoffs and keep his job he needs to consider benching Free.

But I don't see that happening.

His performance is definitely a crushing blow to this team, not only now but in the future. We already knew we needed 1-2 interior linemen but now it's looking like another tackle is a priority and probably the highest one now.

And no Parnell is not the answer...the worst thing we can do is try to elevate him to do something more than he's capable of. The team has a problem trying to turn backups into starters and they might have a good stretch of games or even a full season but eventually they get exposed.

Posts like this truly show who knows anything about football. People hear an idiot announcer say something and their opinion if formed.

He was called for two holds. One looked like a Duke player flopping, another was a let go...both were called since it's Free and Dallas. I can show you at least a dozen more aggregious holds in the same game that weren't called.

I can also show you four times he took hands to the face that weren't called, including one of the sacks.

But then I don't think people want an honest discussion because they realize their ignorance will be revealed.
