Downloading youtube videos

Is there a simple way to download a youtube video to my computer?

Edit: nvm. Just found this site downloadyoutubevideos.com.

Seems to be working for me.

If your using FireFox you can also install the FF downloader add-on to your browser. I've used it for about a year.

If you have a mac, you can open up the activity monitor and just double click the video.

Can't remember the shortcut keys though.

Woody'sGirl, this is another way which may or may not be easier than the one you've found

when you're on the page of the video you want to download, simply type in "pwn" into the front of the word "youtube" in your address bar

example: original - www.youtube.com/videowhatever
new: www.pwnyoutube.com/videowhatever

a new page will come up and you simply click on the "download" link

there you are
