CP deserves credit for this as well. He did a lot wrong Sunday night but his utilization of Downs was a positive. Downs was in the backfield untouched multiple times. That’s nice work by both player and coach to disguise the blitz.

Yeah but I like the idea better that when Overshown comes back they need to experiment with him at outside linebacker just like they thought they were going to do it Liafu he actually is a lot like Parsons That is why they converted parsons from the OTB to OLB/DE.

They are about built the same They play the game very similar I think it would be better for him he doesn't have to take on as many blocks I think that 'd be the key right there find you another middle linebacker to go along with winters and Barham just get you another off the ball linebacker somewhere whether it's a trade or bring over Bobby Wagner use them sparingly but use them as a captain a leader etc

Because I like downs and I'm glad they're going to use them in the box a little bit but I think they needed utilize him all over the field so nobody knows when it's coming or how it's coming..


but if you Someone to rush the passer It would help his career right now Is the shift overshown over two outside linebackers solves two problems you don't need to go get Max Crosby But you may be able to go get Brooks but I think that he would help there it would help his career yeah I mean I think that's the smartest thing they could do right now is to change that when he comes back let him get fully healthy on that hamstring and turn him into the starting outside linebacker instead of Eazy E that's what I would do..

What's up with the semantics we didn't call him a defensive ender in outside linebacker we called him a pass rusher that's exactly what they're doing When you bring guys on a blitz from all over the place,

they are rushing the pass here II don't get why we have to use a different word there are no other phrases for it...
