Dozens in Texas town report seeing UFO

I see a dark spot towards the upper middle part, but that can be a dead bug on the windshield for all I know.

Yeah, either that or one of the bright areas, but at least one of them is the Sun so I don't know. I think the witnesses say in the latest article that accompanies this shot that there is an escort plane also in view. That may be the dark speck. I dunno.

That is a break in the clouds where sunlight is shining thru and reflecting off clouds further in the background. I've seen many a sunrise and sunset that looked similar.

After reading some of the comments from eye witnesses in different articles, the descriptions were not like this photograph.

The Shot: UFO caught on tape?

BTW, I'm not endorsing this, just throwing it out there for your amusement. Prepare to be underwhelmed....

Bozo: "wow, close encounter for the third kind"

Thanks. I had heard the audio of that, but had yet to see the video and could not find it.

It could be as Cooper was saying that these guys were mocking the whole situation. It is possible and to go along with that I think they were drunk and/or just a couple of dorks.

Worst. Phone video recorder.

Ever.

Could have got better quality with the first video camera ever built. Ever.

Im only about 40 miles from Stephenville and my sister attends college there at Tarleton. I'm somewhat humiliated by this and look forward to when all the hoopla dies down. If the town isn't holding KKK meetings they're seeing UFO's... how fitting.

BTW, there are actually people walking around the town with tinfoil hats on they're heads...sigh..

Honestly, I cannot find any correlation between those who claim to have seen UFOs and those who attend KKK meetings.

Perhaps you should examine your own tendency to make unsubstantiated generalizations and ask yourself why you feel the need to place two entirely different phenomena in the same category. Does it then become easier to outright dismiss the prospect of UFOs?

Excellent post.

I DESPERATELY want to believe in UFO's in the E.T. sense. But it's just not possible. Of course there is other intelligent life in the universe(s) but it just seems logically impossible to cover the distances necessary to visit other inhabited worlds. IMO

And to know where those worlds are located. Even if you could travel to other galaxies in the blink of an eye, you still have to be able to find planets that have intelligent life. That is a lot of searching.

Finding a habited planet wouldn't be difficult. We already know where several galaxies are in the universe. If you could get to them then that means you have some impressive technology. If you have that kind of technology, then scanning planets for lifeforms once you get to that galaxy (an each solar system within that galaxy) wouldn't be difficult.

Hell, you could narrow down which planets could even possibly sustain life pretty easily.
