Has anyone heard Dr. Dre was blocked in his own drive way by a citizen that than called the cops and told them Dr. Dre threw guns in his own private vehicle ......The man is worth 700 million the days of NWA are over...smh

"Dre then took out his phone to record the incident when, according to TMZ, the man said, "Here we go again. Another black guy with a gun." The man then called 911, and according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, told police someone had pulled a gun on him"

Where's the gun? If the police searched Dre's car and found no gun then that should tell you all you need to know. No gun was pointed at the complainant, it's just a baseless accusation. In cases like this, someone at least needs to spend the night in jail... either for making a false claim or being guilty of the claim.

Dre was never really a ganster, anyways.

Like Kendrick Lamar...he was just a good kid that grew up in a very bad city....The only real gangsters were Eazy E and MC Ren......Funny thing is if you watch the movie and you look at Dj Yella compared to Dj Dr Dre...Yella was constantly trying to get with some chick, while Dre was constantly working......hummmmmmm just a thought.

Also one of the reasons Eazy was deemed the "real NWA". He was bangin well bf and after NWA. He called them fakes when he left the group basically (NWA). Inspired CB-4 w/Chris Rock

Amazing that you can end up in cuffs based solely on the accusations of a stranger.

He didn't "end up" in cuffs. It was only a temporary measure while the police investigated a potentially very serious accusation. In a matter of only a few minutes the cuffs were removed.

So... The man is at his residence, some random dude parks behind him, and drama ensues.

This man is a Don. You mean to tell me, at his driveway, nobody was there to say, "Excuse me, but you don't belong here". "Please relocate you and your vehicle. Now.".

Unless, of course, it's a very well gated community in which case, the random dude lives there or was a guest at another home? Meh.

Sounds bullcorny to me.

My point is that you can end up wearing handcuffs (even if briefly) having done nothing wrong and being on your own property, based on the accusations of a stranger.

I'm not sure how your response changes that.

The idea that the police can show up on my property and put handcuffs on me in front of my family because some stranger made a phone call is not a reassuring thought.

Sounded to me like dude had a few too many and knew where Dr. Dre lived. Dre should've never been cuffed in the first place. Separate the two, get their stories separately; use common sense/unbiased discretion and proceed. Too hard to do all of that I guess..."cuff em til we figure it out, no just him?"

He didn't "end up" wearing handcuffs. Do you not understand the meaning of the words I am putting in quotation marks? Do you think being on your own property shields you from the rule of law? The police were doing their job investgating a potenially very dangerous situation. Being on your own property does not shield you from this.

If someone called the police station and said Brad Pitt was out in his yard waving a gun ....... I wonder if he would be put in handcuffs ...... I doubt it.

And potentally get shot in the process? No thank you. Take charge of the scene with guns drawn and cuff everyone. Then and only then, questions can be asked and answered. Once you have discerned what's actually going on you can take the cuffs off of who ever is not a threat.
