Dr. Z Mock with explanations.

No kidding!! And why Holmes if we go WR why not Jackson?

Exactly. I like Holmes, but Jackson seems to have more upside.

The interesting thing is Dr Z had Bobby Carpenter going at 14, which quite a number of the membership has said that 18 was too soon. Guess since its the Eagles that nobody cares if they reach. What really is the difference in Carpenter at 18 compared to say... 21??

We are sitting at 18 on draft day, and Bunkley, Lawson, and Justice are still available. If we pick Santonio Holmes instead of one of these guys (or instead of trading down 2 or 3 slots), it will be the quickest god to goat transition of any coaching staff in history.

You think Hostile's tantrum over Steven Jackson 2 years ago was a trip? This board would explode!

:bomb:

That's OK, those of us of the mentality that you don't take a LBer in a LBer HEAVY draft but rather take a WR in a WR WEAK year will hold the fort together.

This is the same type of attutide that was about when they traded down to pick up an extra pick took JJ and it set the table for getting Spears

People over reacted then and will again

Perhaps that's why Dr. Z has him going 3 spots ahead of our pick.
