This was a really great listen. Broaddus loves to hear himself talk... he'd drown out the other three too often.

Brugler dropping gems as usual. Cavanaugh had great insight as well.

Only a few minutes in and I absolutely agree with the dude in the red. Get the edge rusher at 28.

The difference between the CB you take at 28 and the highest rated CB still available at 60 will be MINIMAL.

Kiper said the same thing on the radio this morning. He said frankly the guy a team might take at 40 or 50 isn't going to be a whole lot different than the guy a team might take at 10.

The problem is that you can't lock yourself into thinking you have to get the best edge rusher at 28. If the pick comes and your scouts and analysis has a CB rated higher than the best DE on the board, you have to take the CB. When you get cute at 28, that's when you mess up.

Take the best available defender at 28 unless of course there's a stunner there like Davis or Williams or OJ Howard had somehow slipped to 28.

Then that murkies things up even more IMO.

I think we'd have to trade Williams if we drafted Davis. Davis is obviously better and twill would be a cancer I THINK.
