Draft a hybrid TE

Doesn't he drop quite a few balls? He also lets players get in his head causing him to lose focus....sound familiar(Dez)?

His intangibles are incredible though and an athletic freak.

Equanimeous definitely has the genes to increase his strength, but I find it hard seeing his slim build bulk up into a TE. Interesting idea though.

I've heard the dropped balls comment but not by many. IDK. You can teach someone to catch. You can't teach 6-4+ 220+ 4.5 and muscles thru tackles. I haven't heard much about his routes. In his defense, he had poor QBing so maybe he's got too many questions. I don't think he needs a lot more mass although some is necessary. His size and catch radius puts defenders out of position.

But if he can run a route, he'll be a nightmare especially in the RZ. He fits the bill for a hybrid TE, someone they have been looking for.

our comp picks now how more move about power in the fourth round down
so if St. Brown is on their radar there shouldnt be a problem

Remember the Cowboys still have a run heavy offense, so the TE is going to have to block at the LOS.

Put him out wide and use Swaim to play the Y tight. He'd be a W or whatever you want to call it.

We have the irrelevant at wr Noah Brown to do that with. Nobody still can tell me his purpose on the team. If he’s such a great blocker he should be a tight end

He's only 6-2. Huge difference in catch radius and RZ threat.

You are asking the wrong player to be a TE.

You might be right. But if he can't put on 20-30 lbs without slowing down someone doesn't know what they're doing. That's plenty big enough for a TE esp a hybrid TE who is more a big WR than TE anyway.
