Draft a kicker? I am as big of a Bailey fan as anyone on this board. But he seems to be getting a bit less reliable due to injury.

You could draft a kicker in the 5th round or later and maybe get the best kicker in college now and trade Dan Bailey for a significant draft pick based on his past performance and save a good chunk of change on his contract.

I'm not saying DO IT. I'm just saying that it's an option I would consider if I were the Cowboys.

It is foolish to draft a kicker. Even the best one out of this past year's class in Jake Elliott got cut from the Bengals before he landed with the Eagles.

And no team is going to trade for a kicker, especially if they are coming off an injury and are in a slump. They can go from great to bad quickly.

Once we all thought of Nick Folk as a money kicker and he fell off dramatically after he got hurt.

But that said, if you told me there was a David Buehler-type weapon available this April, I might change my mind.

When you see a player that is as consistent and professional as Dan Bailey missing chip shot field goals you realize something is going on with the focus on this team. The same thing happened several times this season where the whole team played bad. Motivational speeches can only take you so far........

There's is no reason to spend a draft pick on a kicker. Every college at every level has one, and the goal posts are the same size. Plenty of options in free agency every year.

Could it be the party atmosphere at the Star? I do business there (hotel) and I've never seen so many distractions.

The short misses are concerning, he will get one more season to show that he hasn't lost it. Unfortunately, Garrett will probably trot him out there to attempt a few 50+ yarder in Philly, which are tough kicks for anyone. If he misses those, it will lower his confidence even more.

Jason Garrett caused Bailey to miss two field goals. He also caused the Fukishima Earthquake and the price of Bitcoin dropping by 30% on Friday.

Bailey is the least of our problems.

dude hurt his groin. there's a whole lot of things you struggle with with an injured groin, and i'd assume kicking a ball far as hell, accurately is one.

They should have avoided the 50+ yard field goals a should have let Heath kickoff. I'm sure Bailey was never healthy and probably returned too soon.

Are Baileys struggles anyway tied to Dez? I’m waiting for the troll to make that connection

Maybe it is Dez fault. Maybe Dez is asking Bailey to talk to Dak to get Dak to force him the ball more often. Lots to ponder here.
