Everyone that watched yesterday’s game knows exactly why the Cowboys lost.

Enough time, money, and resources have been invested in Dak Prescott to get to a Championship. And it hasn’t happened.

And if you’re a rational organization, you admit that and realize it’s unlikely that it ever will.

Now because of poor management, you’re financially stuck with the player and two years of the contract. But that doesn’t mean you have to be stuck on the field.

Draft a quarterback.

Send a message to the incumbent and give yourself another valid option. And allow yourself an ‘out’ from the disappointing results and financial burden.

It’s time.

I agree. Dak's vision is not there considering how long he's been in the league. He doesn't see the field that well. It's time to train for his replacement.
And his timing is terrible as well. He’s late on half of his throws and is constantly giving defenders the chance to react. That’s a big reason why his INT numbers are so high.

He easily could have had four picks yesterday.

I am honestly sad to say. I am hoping for a bunch of injuries next year so we lose a bunch of games an have a legit chance at Drake Maye. Its time. Mahomes on one leg looked better than Dak last night. This team will not use FA to put players around Dak to help so we might as well draft his replacement.

Definitley curious on how the combine/pro days go. The QB carousel for who goes first is still all over the map.
I've seen some mocks with Levis going #1 and some going day 2 lol, for example.

Also, would like to see who are realistic day 2 QBs

I don’t think there are enough players to put around him that would have made up for his performance yesterday.

I don’t think it’s a bad idea to draft a quarterback. I think that’s the intelligent approach. And give him time to sit on the bench and develop. I’m not happy about D AK but the oh elf wont See it like that

Look at what AJ brown did for Hurts...Jerry and his son love to throw a bunch of players in and see what happens. Hence why they drafted 11 players a few years ago instead of packaging picks and moving up for more quality. If they trade and or sign the RIGHT guys it could help. Either way though. They need to draft a QB. Problem is they are picking close to the end of the first.

I said it in another post but a large number of his picks are passes defenders are jumping the route. That tells you 1) he’s staring down receivers; 2) they know his tendencies; and 3) the play-calling has gotten stale.

Some of the passes he throwing are total amateur hour in terms of the types a gaffes he’s making. These are rookie-level mistakes.
