I didn't read this thread so I don't know where it has gone now, but I have to say this would be one of the RARE times I'd ever agree with Nors (which probably automatically already makes me wrong), but I wouldn't pass on Reggie Bush if he were available at our slot.
It's not about "need". Of course we don't "Need" him. It's more about picking a type of player that only comes around once every 5-10 years or so. You know, a Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders, Marcus Allen, Gale Sayers type of player. And the great thing is he'd be an big time threat but we'd still be able to use JuJo, TT, and MBIII. But Bush adds a whole other dimension as a runner (He's got moves that JuJo can only dream about, and speed to go along with it) not to mention that he'd be a HUGE boost to our passing game. Right now if we put JuJo out wide it's not a mismatch in our favor. With a Reggie Bush out there you better have a CB on him cuz if you cover him with a LB you're screwed.
That said, Bush is a Junior and may not declare. And even if he does declare he'll be way too high a pick for us to be able to draft him anyway.
But if by some miracle he dropped to us, I'd crap my pants out of sheer joy if we drafted him. Imagine the two-headed monster of RB and JuJo, with a little bit of TT and MBIII sprinkled in. Plus, if a WR got hurt we could play JuJo and RB at the same time with RB lined up as a WR. The options are endless with a dynamic player like that.
