Welp...I'm about all but certain we're going to win the division now and be picking around 19. Good for the team to show some effort/heart bad for drafting top 10 talent.

I'd imagine the following guys will no longer be available:

- Farley
- Surtain
- Rousseau
- Parsons
- Sewell
- Darrisaw
- Slater
- Chase
- Pitts
- D. Smith

New potential targets:

- Marvin WIlson
- Horn
- Stokes
- Campbell
- Leatherwood
- Paye
- Ojulari
- Collins (if he tests well)

Marvin Wilson will be a good Pro DT
I like Horn
Leatherwood.
not bad at all

I want DTs in the worst way but I would not touch Wilson at 19.

Based on that list, I'd go Stokes, Horn or if you go OL Leatherwood but again, I really hate the idea of another first round pick on an OL. At some point you have to turn mid round picks into serviceable, starting type OL like other teams do.

Wilson's a tough evaluation. He had first round tape in 19 and then kinda fell off this year...not sure if he was playing through injury but when healthy he's a stud. 19 might be rich for him as I see him kind of a fringe 1st rounder but he'll be gone if you don't pull the trigger.

You could talk me into pretty much anyone from the list...it's not a very strong 1st round class this year.

**Edit - adding Trevon Moehrig**

Last year's draft was by far bpa, at least initially.

I'm betting this one will be for need, at least initially...

He was really up and down this year. I saw him against ND and he was just bullied at times, granted, that ND OL was arguably one of the best in college football.

Which guy is the best injured prospect?

Bonus points if they have a congenital condition or are crippled in some way physically or mentally.

Nothing is set in stone, our draft position has a lot of volatility involved. There is no guarantee we even beat the giants. It is still even possible to get a top 10 pick. We have to play it out for another week for sure.

We are still in great shape. I am confident in Washington and Alex Smith taking care of business. Even if we beat NYG, we shouldn't drop too far as long as we still lose the division. Minnesota plays Detroit so they SHOULD win at finish 7-9. It's tough to predict what Belichick does and the Jets are locked into the #2 pick so they might try hard and win vs. NE. However, if NE wins then they should be 7-9 too. We're ahead of both due to SOS.

Win the game and win the division = 19th pick
Win the game and still lose the division = 13th pick (most likely)
Lose the game = Back into the Top-10

Good perspective...overreaction Monday for me.

CB could be the best match of value/need one way or the other. If we win the division, Horn or an OT will likely be BPA. If we dont, Farley is likely BPA.

Out of your list, I take Horn. I feel Horn projects as a #1 CB in the NFL, and IMO is a better prospect than Henderson was last year

Really not one single DL in this whole draft that excites me. A potential #1 CB might be your best get in round 1. DL could be a good day 2 look. Very poor at the top, but there is some depth. You won't leave this draft with a foundational peice, but you can get something similar to what got in Gallimore. And that still helps

For guys like Horn and the 2nd wave it’s going to come down to what kind of athletes they are. If we’re going to take a CB early I want someone that can run...we don’t need another Diggs type.

If Horn runs low/mid 4.5s he’s not much different then guys that could be available in the 2nd or 3rd.

I think Horn is expected to test out very well at the combine

Of these guys, I like Horn and Collins.

What about Owusu-Koramoah? Is he in this range?

If it was strictly a matter of Dallas beating the Giants, I'd be with you.
But beating the Giants does no good if Washington wins, that's entirely out of Dallas' control, and I also think the WFT/Eagles game is a total tossup, and a toss up does not mean "all but certain"...

I hope so...sub 4.5 40 and sub 7 second 3 come and sign me up.
I see Horn running in the mid 4.4 range. I don't think he will test as well as Henderson last year, but I think he is a more complete player right now. I think he will leave the combine with good size, speed and ability grades to go with good tape to be a mid 1st rounder. I don't see it being enough to challenge Surtain and Farley to climb even higher

Before drafting a tweener like that I need to know who our DC is. I’m not sure just any DC can find a way to maximize JOK, he’d have to have a specific plan.

Would be wary of taking him first.
