Draft Credit

I'm all about BPA.
If Kyle Pitts would've been sitting there at 10. He was BPA by FAR.

Fair point. But I was only talking about the 1st round.
Yes. I agree with your original premise. I was just saying that we sort of forced that second round pick, and our record in the second round has been pretty spotty.

CeeDee Lamb
Micah Parsons

Two years in a row we didn't use a first round draft pick for a need. And now these two players are arguably the best two young players on our team. That's how you are supposed to draft. Who gets the credit?

I'm as excited for Parsons as the next guy but a little early to declare the pick a success no?

We just lost Sean Lee and Joe Thomas and had horrible linebacker play in 2020.
We had also just lost Randall Cobb and needed an immediate starting SWR

These might not have been the no.1 needs but they were both top 5 IMO

DT needs to be at top of 2022 draft.

I'm not sold on this. It's a candidate but there is a lot to play out. Odigi and Gallimore may step up and somewhat negate that need.

I see....say Mr. Dan Quinn, maybe you should back off building the defense around Parsons because....you know....it's too early and stuff

The same guy that gets the blame.....jerrah!!!

Yep
If people are honest, that's how it works

If people were being honest with themselves they'd stop looking for small reasons to give Jerry credit.

The last time the Cowboys won a road playoff game was 1993. Jimmy Johnson was head coach. I give Jerry credit for hiring him.

Since January 28, 1996 I've been waiting to give Jerry credit for something else. The clocks are ticking, his and mine.

umm LB was a basic need LVE always hurt Lee is gone JS not player as well..dudes playmaker it was a need ..they may simply let LVE and JS go and cox, neal and Parsons are the young replacement's..that is technically need.

Ceedee we didnt need but wished they knew he would fall to us and not pay AC as FAS came first..ughh

now the issue is ceedee and gallup will be due big deals vetry soon.that why it can become an issue drafting a position you already have good players at.
Didnt reach for a safety. Parsons wait and see, but so far so good. Lamb is a stud….

Hey, I don't care if he gets credit.
Just being honest and admitting the obvious….door swings both ways.

Fwiw, Ive never been a fan of Jerry as GM

If the league gave out a trophy for having great individual players we would have plenty.

That said, I just can't put my finger on why we can't get past the divisional round.....

Any ideas?

Credit for what?

This team hasn't played in a championship game in so long we have fans celebrating draft picks, yards gained, and PFF ratings.
I've always celebrated draft picks If I liked the player they picked
