Draft Day 2025 is here!

So....let me broach this subject as I have not noticed it brought up. I'm not saying one way or the other...I'm only asking.....

so, when we were 3-7 last year--if we decided internally that the season is over and each win hurts us ....would we be in a better spot tonight?
I believe you play to win until you are eliminated and then you play to win with the younger players to see what they can offer the team next season.

If they win with younger players, those players gain valuable NFL experience and the Cowboys get to focus on more pressing positions in free agency and the draft next season.

If they lose with younger players, the team drafts higher and they know they may need to move on or not count on some of the younger players next season.

not related to our team, but I listened to former Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum today and he thinks a Kirk Cousins trade to the Browns will happen this weekend. Obviously it wouldn't impact early rounds, but lets see if hes right.

Tonight will be the first time i do not watch the draft since i was overseas.
It will be the first time i have willingly missed the draft since i was 12.

Thanks Jerry

Been a long day with some havoc mixed in.

Cooling down now, and am starting to think what are the chances the Cowboy's trade away one of their own superstars tonight?

Micah?

I think a surprise top 10 or top 15 pick will be QB Jaxson Dart. Hopefully he does go top 10 so it pushes another player down to us.

Anyone else have a surprise top 10 or 15 pick?
