I think this thread has been discussed but I couldn't find it anywhere in the Zone.

Could you give me your best NFL draft day resources as far as magazines, online subscriptions?

It seems like the mags are so behind and outdated that they aren't a good resource. The thing I do like about the Sporting news mag is the breakdown of positions, rounds, and who they compare too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just wanted to get your opinions.

Thanks.....

ok woods, right now, there isnt any draft magazine out that has real good coverage after the combine;

however, i did get 2 magazines that i liked, pro football draft guide, in it, you can go online and get the update version for april 1st, and you also can get the after draft version they have as a free offer for buying their magainze, which i liked, and they have fair coverage on players

second magazine is sporting news draft, fair,

next i went online and got the 4.99 for sporting news war room, those are the best ones i have found,, there are some more, but not sure if yoiu would have enough time to get them in, ourlads is one, but those cost about 30 to 40 dollars and huddle report is fair too ive been told,

:welcome: Well 'me buckeroo, you've come to the right place. Most people around here have an opinion. Not many are worth a hoot though. Esp mine.

Welcome to the forum.

Of the one's you can buy in the stores, the PFW Draft Guide is the most comprehensive one...the magazines dont have anywhere near the info and most come out way too soon.

I got Lindy's which was out before the combine, which I like. It gives you assessments on players before they get hooked up with Agent, hype and workout numbers. I like to see what some of the obscure guys did in actual games. You can throw the bar up 40 times all day long but if you can't block or tackle worth a plug nickel what's the point.

Don't get me wrong, I am interested in those numbers as well, but not as much as pre combine reports on how players did against competition. JMO.

Thanks for your thoughts...

I have been looking at Ourlads, and some other online resources, but I really like the mags that are all put together....even if the info is old and dated...

Thanks again......

I have been to Barnes and Noble and haven't seen Street and Smith.

I know they typically do a NFL preview in the summer, but wasn't sure about a Draft preview???

If you look at the next to the last page of the Sporting News draft guide, you'll see a page saying they have purchased and combined with Street & Smith.
