Draft Day Process Question

I'm just curious if anyone in here knows war room procedure when our pick is on the clock and trade calls are coming in. If our pick is on the clock and a call from another team comes into our war room to trade for our pick, who physically gets the call? Stephen, Jerry, our scouts or designated DC team representatives? I assume we're prepared with representatives who could handle multiple calls/discussions with multiple teams. They would then call out the trade senario to the scouts who would do the quick math on trade/pick values that are being offered, then give the value results and opinions to Steph/Jerry to make a decision. Perhaps these confidential calls are already being made between teams?
Just guessing but does anyone know their specific procedure or if there is one?
Would love to have a bug in the war room of each team.

I seem to recall a report where the Cowboys had multiple calls on the line during one draft, w/ Jerry, Stephen, and others fielding trade feelers/requests. If you are in a desireable spot and several folks are interested, you don't want delays. Only 15 minutes makes for some serious time pressure.

I am pretty sure that the Cowboys play out these scenarios in advance, and have some guidelines for what they consider 'reasonable offers'. As time ticks down, the prefered deals are going to be the ones focused on.

Jerry is the deal maker. There's plenty of conversation with Steven and Jason, but the actual calls are done by Jerry.

They even have computer programs for every imaginable scenario so they always are on top of fair value as each pick comes up.

And yes, they use the current draft chart but with clear flexibilty.

When Jerry said he got a discout, he was referring to the fact that they paid 1550 for a chart value of 1700. Still within 10% but most trades are closer than that. And yes, the team trading up usually does pay slighlty less...but not nearly that much less.

Normally TB would have wanted another pick. It worked out for both teams, as TB still got their backup plan man at 14.
