Has there been any thread about the Draft Day movie?

I just saw it last night.

My rating would be about a B-.

It could have been better, but Hollywood has to make things too unrealistic.

I don't think there has been a thread. I think I commented on it last month in the main movie thread. I wasn't very high on it. I thought most of the subplots weren't really relevant, and the draft happenings were very absurd (not to mention I don't think they were positive like the movie portrays them to be).

I was excited to see it until it was released and Costner was on ESPN and some idiot said it was his best sports movie.

I never thought it really looked that interesting, tbh. The biggest problem I have with it is that you know how it ends. They are going to draft someone lol, and with a HOllywood perspective, I doubt you get any real insights about the nitty gritty of the process.

Haven't seen it yet, but most reviews say it is a bit dull. I'll check it out anyway.

I saw it recently. I actually really liked it.

Great aerial shots of stadiums.

I'll wait on the DVD, rather pay a little over a buck at Redbox than to pay price at the theater

DVD worthy for sure.
Otherwise, it was pretty unrealistic.
I enjoyed it though; but not sure if that because I'm football starved or that it was any good.

What was funny is how much trading by the Browns was going on, and then the real draft happened to see that too.

actually when you looked at what cleveland did during the draft, the film looks more realistic.
