I didn't realize how many of them we had on this site ha. Sooooooo much whining. Its really unbelievable how much moaning and complaining we have before we even give players a chance. I'm not sure ya'll even realize how much time and effort goes into scouting these guys, or who you all think would be better fits at these pics, but really...everyone needs to calm down and relax...and probably stop drinking at this point too lol.

I think these picks were solid. Nothing flashy...but honestly i'm sick of flash, i want to build a team like the patriots. You rarely hear about any of them except for one or two big names...yet they constantly win with quality, hard nosed, passionate football players. I think that's what we're looking for here. For all you that wanted Johnson at safety...he had a run in with the law in college. Maybe it was an isolated incident but i don't even wana take a chance at this point.

Keep up the solid draft...

The consensus so far is that we reached for a few players.

Basically, they can be good players, but taking someone too early is not a good thing.

Then we lose out on the ability to get another quality player as well as the player we coveted in a later round.

Reaching is bad.

It's not so much about a particular player's talent as it is the way they are working the draft board.

A bunch of armchair whiners on this site does not equal "consensus."

The consensus among the actual experts in the NFL is that this was a crappy draft all around. So acting as if this turd over here is somehow a 4th round pick instead of a 5th pick like the turd over there is "reaching" is silly.

This draft stunk in terms of talent. Pure and simple.

Look at the patriots. They knew it. They drafted a few guys, and then sold off pick for next year where the talent is supposed to be much better.

God I hate the patriots, but you have to tip your hat to them. They know what they're doing.

So why the hell aren't we doing the same thing??

Its funny too that everyone seems to be more happy with this last pick, but from everything i can see and read on the Williams pick, all he can do is pass rush. He sucks against the run, he sucks at tackling, his strength is questionable so he's liable to get pushed around in the NFL. Doesn't make much sense. I don't think he was a bad choice, but i like some of our other selections just as good. It seems like the overall attitude towards our picks from the guys on espn has been positive.
