Draft Game: Pick Two Create 2

Stand Pat and Pick: Allen & Ducasse

OR

Trade Down and Pick: Saffold & Burnett
(Can't go wrong with either choice..)

What else would we get via trading down? An extra 3rd or a 4th? Thats important. Obviousely anyone beside Burnett marks would prefer Duccasse and Allen but if we add a 3rd rounder that changes everything.

I pick trade down for Saffold and Burnett since Saffold is "higher" ranked (considered a borderline 1st round pick now) than Ducasse and Burnett and Allen are on par, plus the extra pick(s) from the trade down.

New Scenario:

or

Trade future pick(s) to move up and select Saffold in the 2nd Round

First, I trade down for either scenario, reason, nate allen in my estimation wont go till about the 31st or 32nd pick or lower.

If you have been watching teams, they are inviting Mays, Cronk, Dez-who i think will go to Denver or fall down, Campbell, Davis, Kareem Jackson, Pouncey, Kyle Wilson, Odrick, J Gresham, this all will enable cowboys to trade down, if this truly happens which i think it will.

Cleveland doesnt have enough ammuntion to trade up for Bradford. So,they Buffalo, Commanders, Jacksonville, all need a top QB, which I think you would agree with me.

That leaves Colt McCoy and Tebow for some team to trade up with us to get one of those top QBs.

This will allow us to shop, trade and demand top picks in top of 2nd round. Most likely getting a 2nd to trade down, a 4th or a 5th and a 7th. We then take Nate Allen at Safety, if he is gone we take Burnett, but both should be there at top of 2nd round. We then use the 7th to trade up with our 2nd rounder and take Ducasse.

We will still have a 3rd, 4th, another 4th or 5th, 6th and 7th. We also will trade either Crayton, Barber, Spears or Bennett.

This will recoup us another 2nd and possibly a 5th to 7th.

With the top 2nd we take Sean Lee or Geathers or Joseph. Depending on who we trade to get another 2nd. You have to listen, look and find what players the cowboys have looked it, last 5 years, they have taken about 3 to 4 players in the draft that they have looked at in an interview, brought to Dallas etc.

Then, we still have a 3rd, 4th, another 4th or 5th, if its a 4th we trade one of those 4 downs again to recoup some 6th and 7th.

If its just a 5th we stay there.

Third we take Dorin Dickerson or McCluster for example.

Or possibly take Akwasi CB and elite punt returner.

Fourth we take either J D Walton or John Jerry or Marshall Newhouse or Derek Hardeman or Ramon Harewood.

Fifth we take John Conner FB

Sixth and 7th we take another linebacker or wr.

This will fill out our needs and draft. In 6th and 7th we also target someone like Trindon Holliday, another elite wr and punt/kickoff returner.

so, what were our needs, s, OT, OG/C, FB, CB to replace Newman growing old and a young DE to take over for Spears.

I like Allen and Saffold.

Ducasse supposedly asking out of the tackle spot during practice, doesn't set well with me.

So, I'll go with Saffold and Burnett.

Nate Allen and Arrelious Benn

I like McCorty, and he may have the last first round grade.

However, he's no TNEW.

How you going to play him? Can you put him on ice? Move Scandrick to FS? Scandrick isn't big enough, I don't think.

You could be the Oakland As, but that is Terence Newman, a physical freak.
