Solidify the interior of the Dline. Add a safety. Add a speed receiver. Add a LB that should be good in a few years. Add a FB with power. Add developmental OLine. Add a developmental QB. Thoughts??

Love Vea pick. Coutee could be a Antonio Brown type player as well. Very similar body types, speed, and movement ability.

I like where your coming from but I think the first two picks are overkill.
You might be right about your first rd. pick but history doesn't support it.
If you'd swap out who ever is the BPA at another position lets say Isiah Wynn,OT @ 51
you have some good selects

History doesn't support drafting high at 1T? Except that in 1991 Dallas Cowboys with Jimmy Johnson, drafted Russell Maryland a 1T, not just in the 1st round, but no 1 overall. Then they started winning Superbowls.
Before that, they had the Manster playing over the C/G, and I think he did a pretty good job for them considering he was a co-mvp of the Superbowl.
Vince Wilfolk was drafted in the first round by New England, and I think they did pretty well when they had him.

Vea, Payne, and Collins would sure up the interior DL for a couple of downs at least. Then you could move Crawford and Irving inside and have Taco and Tank outside. A DL of Tank, Taco, Collins, Payne, Vea, Price/Ash, Irving, Crawford seems like it is a pretty strong group with ability to both rotate, bring pressure, and stop the run.

I like spending resources in the middle of the DLine. Keep guys off of Lee and Smith. Spend premium picks at LB next year if Lee gets banged up again and/or Smith doesnt pan out. Putting talent in front of Smith gives him a better chance to show what he has.

I predict Larry Allen Jr. will be on every mock draft.

Maybe but what I read on Walter says he is going to have to work on his weight and he may go the biomedical engineer route. He is listed as #18 ranked guard.

If we can't get Roquan I would love to have Vita. Another guy that seems to be under the radar right now is Poona Ford DT1. Unless he lights it up at the senior bowl he may be had in the later rounds. If you haven't looked at him yet, look at Josey Jewell, Lb. I'm kinda liking what I read. He will be a later round pick I'm guessing around third maybe.

Aside from the attention he got last night proposing to his girlfriend, Bozeman C-Alabama is another to consider. Another one that needs the senior bowl to show his wares. Ranked third center.

My view of Kirk. Fluid, separates well, soft but strong natural hands. Quick, good second gear and tracks naturally. IMO a good slot receiver that may do ok outside on certain routes. Need to consider that we have Bease and Switzer.

I can't speak for waving monkey but he might of meant that this coaching staffs history doesn't support it. In RM's scheme he does not put a premium on the 1T. I don't agree with it and personally don't like his scheme.

IMO Marinelli prefers the smaller faster DT1, I don't agree with him on this and as a matter of fact I'm not crazy about his defensive scheme. Strange, he is the DC and I'm sitting on my butt in my recliner.

Oh I agree, I speak of the current defensive guru. Marinelli doesn't value the D1 that high. We have a good D3 MCollins who was played
out of position because of injury. Our defensive line would be bad assed on doubt with your plan.

Waving Monkey approves this reply.

I like the payne pick. Dude was a beast against Georgia in the championship game...they couldn't block him all night.

Hope this is not against any rules......... Here is a scouting report on Roquan.

I don't like going back to back on the same position in 1st and 2nd. I think the top resources should be spread to cover the biggest weaknesses. If there is an answer to either safety position around 19 we need to grab him, other than that I'm good with any of the top 5 DTs and Roquan Smith; possibly a QB I don't know yet I haven't looked at them closely yet.
