I don't agree. They need help on both sides of the ball. They also need much better coaching, something the owner wont admit and is too cheap to pay for. Eberflus was was a piss poor hire. He is supposed to be a LB guru. How is that LB play looking?

Will be hard to pay pickens and his bone head plays, maybe he changes my mind in the coming weeks without CD.

This is the sort of drafting that has us in such a bad position to begin with. We don't just need defense, we need great players. We don't know if they're keeping Pickens, and whether or not he's worth what he'll fetch next offseason, uncertainty at RB, need at least a new RT, and who knows on LT. The roster is a mess, we need a bunch of good players, the level of which this front office hasn't shown it has the capability to acquire.

Please no running back bs, 4th round + sure. An average to good running back can get 4ypc, go where there is a wider skill gap and talent discrepancy (running back needs other things to be successful). We do need a 2nd and 3rd receiver, it's early yet so far Pickens can go. Guyton still has a long ways to go to, by the end of the season you could easily say both tackles.

Great opportunity to evaluate Pickens. If he wants to be paid like a number 1, then he needs to prove it. This may end up saving us some money.

Just draft and collect the best players available.
