I am not trying to be mean in any way but why would you care? Don't the Cowboys not pick until the third round?

and don't the playoffs have to be played? how could they make a draft order, unless it's all scripted?

*conspiracy alert*

Dallas isn't Cleveland.

I thought it was a first, second, and fifth they gave up. Am I wrong?

1, 3 and 5. I belive we got Roy Williams and the Lions 7th rounder in return.

We'll also have several extra picks from various trades we made last yr on draft day, as well as getting the Titans pick back for the Trashman Jones fiasco.

The only playoff teams affected in the draft order are the two teams in the Super Bowl. The rest go by record and ties are broken up by strength of schedule.

Nevermind, I saw the above post.

And what pick are you getting back for Jones? It was conditional?

Dallas get a #5 from Tennessee (compensation after CB Adam Jones was suspended again by the NFL.)

I think we get the Lions' fourth round pick next year too, per Wiki 2008 draft page. This wasn't a RW deal but a 2008 draft-day tradeup by the Lions ...

Grasping at straws, but "on the bright side ...."

our first selection, and possibly our only day one pick, will be the 54th pick.

That can't be right, is it?

There are five 9-7 teams: Arizona, Tampa, Jets, Chicago and Dallas. Denver too if they win.

Tiebreakers dictate the 1st round order and then it rotates through subsequent rounds

There are 16 teams that will definitely pick before us in the 2nd and 32 picks in the first round. That means we should be between 49 and ........ well maybe it is right.

We also have Cleveland's top 5 pick in the 3rd round and Detroit's first pick in the 4th round.
