Draft pick 20

Ware between 16 and 20 depending strength of schedule. Is there a link showing us at 20?
The highest we can get is 14th, but there were 4 teams ahead of us based on SOS going into week 16.

We will be lucky to get higher than #18 win or lose.

This team needs quality over quantity. I move up every chance I get. Even if it means coming up with a smaller draft class.

Sign a free agent WR and draft a WR in the 1st.
If the receiver in the first is best available. We don't need to reach based on need.

I will be looking at first round receivers soon though and see what's out there. I really like Roquan Smith though

I got it from Dane Brugler off Twitter

I call it near-BPA. If there is a WR and other players on a similar tier, then take the WR.

Trades can be used to match BPA with need.

R.Smith seems like the type of LB they need. Modern LBs must be fast and great in coverage even if they give up some size. That seems to match RS.

The kicker is that you get less value drafting a 4-3 LB in the 1st than a WR, DE, CB, OT, DT because those positions are on average much more expensive in free agency. Luke Kuechly averages 12M per. A middle of the road WR like Alshon is getting paid more than the very best 4-3 LB.
