The highest we can get is 14th, but there were 4 teams ahead of us based on SOS going into week 16.

We will be lucky to get higher than #18 win or lose.

I hope we give him every chance to succeed. At the very least a new OC with a better scheme and play calling would go a long ways

All Ties are decided by Strength of Schedule... (SOS)

The higher the SOS the later the draft pick in a tie.....

I call it near-BPA. If there is a WR and other players on a similar tier, then take the WR.

Trades can be used to match BPA with need.

R.Smith seems like the type of LB they need. Modern LBs must be fast and great in coverage even if they give up some size. That seems to match RS.

The kicker is that you get less value drafting a 4-3 LB in the 1st than a WR, DE, CB, OT, DT because those positions are on average much more expensive in free agency. Luke Kuechly averages 12M per. A middle of the road WR like Alshon is getting paid more than the very best 4-3 LB.
