Somehow, 10 for Switzer and 39 for White just seems right. 27 for Lewis does, for that matter.

33 sounds good for Awuzie, but that's Dorsett so I doubt if he'll keep that number. Lewis wore 26 at Michigan. IIRC it's available. I wonder if he chose 27 or was denied 26 or both?

Unofficially 12 and 74 are, haven't seen anyone wear those since Billy/Roger. I would guess now 8 and 22 are. 33 has been worn after Dorsett.

They have given it out in camp before, and if the player makes the team, they will reassign the number. It hasn't been worn in a regular season game since 1974.
