We will pick between 16 and 20 for sure.
If Chargers, Titans and Bill all lose, we will pick 19th or 20th.
If any or all of them win, we may still pick that low, depending on SOS.
Same for Seahawks if they lose or even the Falcons.

Remember it is based on SOS, not head to head.

And if we would have lost, we still most likely would pick 16 to 20.
They highest we could have got was 15th. But most likely it would have been 17th to 19th.
Of course that depended on other games, but those would and may play out to have kept us at 17 to 19 anyway.

wouldn't get too worked up about it. Most draft analyst think this is 15 player deep (1st round grades). So 16-25 are similar in grades. Ideal slot for LB.

We'll get another Byron Jones type. Sweet

At 16 or at 20, we will get about the same player. The difference on the trade chart is 150 points, from 1000 to 850.
#15 is 1050 points.
even 200 points equates to a 3rd round 14th pick.
150 points 3rd round 24th pick for if we trade down a few spots.

Not worked up about it. I was pulling for the win. A few spots, as you said, does not make a big difference.
All tier 2 level players in any draft. And by that I mean you get the same level of player that can fit what you need.

And if there is a player they really want, and they have 4 comp picks to do it. They can trade up. And they better trade up higher than the 15th pick, like higher than 12.

Byron Jones was the 27th pick and has been a 3 year starter

We should be so lucky

20% of Drafted players never play a down for their team
67% are certifiable busts

Man, you will confuse them with good sense and reasoning backed by viable stats. :lmao2:

Hope springs eternal. The draft and off season give us a reason to wash the bad taste out of our mouths and look towards the future. No doubt this season was a disappointment but remember, the sun also rises. In all our lives, we have both success and failure. When we do win the dance, it will just be that much sweeter. Fear not brethren. Our day will come again. Changes are coming both with the team and the personnel. But all the complaining in the world isn't going to change a thing as to how this season unfolded and ultimately ended. What's done is done and the fork is still hot. Time to shift our focus to a new day, correct what is broken and fill what is needed.

That's the beauty of football. There's always a new day.

Smith come on down then. Knowing our luck the Raiders will draft him or he won't make that far to us.
