Draft Plans: Food-Drinks

What is everyone's plans for food and drink this year? This is a topic we cover every year here at the zone. I hope this isn't getting things started to early. I am dying to get some good ideas. Maybe change some of my own depending on the menus of some.

The draft starts real early here in Anchorage. It is usually a breakfast thing we get going. I dont have a single Cowboy friend coming over this year. What a shame. Everyone is either a Cheesehead or Bronco Fan or Horseshoe fan.

My menu I am working on so far....

Huevos Rancheros
Homemade tortillas
4 different salsa's (Trying a new mango salsa---TASTE)
Homemade Bacon Biscuits and White Gravy + a little spicy sausage
Fresh honeydew melon and cantelope
Lots of Bloody Mary's....heavy on Mary

Waffles and Pancakes for the runts


Lunch will be leftovers and my favorite ale - Negra Modelo Dark Mexican Ale

I know Hostile has a fantastic menu he probably has been stewing over the past month.

Too nervous ! Don't eat during the draft or during games . I instead double my blood pressure medicine and take in lots of fluids .

For some reason. 4 out of the past 5 years, I have found myself dining at Chilli's during the first round of the draft. I have no plans to go there this year, but who knows.

I'm not really........but there is a history here we're talking about............perhaps the old fart will chime in and remind some of the 'youngsters' his tradition...............

I'll really have some New York style pizza and some wings (extra hot like only in NY) and 2 cases of beer.
