I scanned through all of the NFLDS (CBS) rankings and picked out the players that I think are clearly over-rated or under-rated relative to where they will be drafted.

Red = Over-rated (relative to where they will be drafted).
Blue = Under-rated.

Note, I think Warmack is a great player, but Guards don't get drafted at #3 overall.

I don't think Barrett Jones at the 47th pick is overrated. JMO

Barrett Jones: I think mid-2nd was an accurate ranking; however, he now has a foot injury (Lisfranc) that could be a problem.

His best attribute was his readiness to play in the NFL, not his upside. If the injury projects to limiting him in Training Camp, then his best attribute is somewhat nullified.

I compare him to Kyle Kosier. A very solid but unspectacular player. He is not a super powerful guy like Warmack or Warford and he is not a super athletic guy like Cooper or Dallas Thomas.

I would be OK with the Cowboys drafting him with their 2nd round pick because they desperately need to add talent at Center; however, if he were a Guard only, his upside is lower than some of the 2nd/3rd round OGs, IMO.

Hard to judge Jones because he played on a bad foot.

He was definitely less physically impressive than Fluker and Chance this season. They physically dominated people. Barrett simply won match ups and did his job.

I think he is a round 3 guy based on this year's games.

Dang, and those type of foot injuries can linger and/or become chronic.

That sucks. :(

Good job walker I agree with most of your grades. One player that I've been intrigued with for the last two months is way down the list at 281--Dennis Johnson. He has the size I think the team needs for a strength type power runner, he is a good receiver, pass protector and Kick returner. He could possibly be a real find.
