Don't know much about him, but I had to pump him up. I'm an alumnus and UH doesn't regularly have that many prospects. I know we don't need a corner, but if anyone has a scouting report on him, I'd love to read it.

Routt stock soars

One white-hot draft prospect is University of Houston cornerback Stanford Routt. NFL scouts are finding out that Routt, who is one of the nation's top sprinters, might be what all of them are looking for — a corner with size and speed.

Routt opened a lot of eyes when he arrived at the Indianapolis scouting combine at 6-1 1/4 , 193 and ran as low as 4.29, which means he's consistently in the 4.3s.

Last week, Routt visited Cleveland. Monday, he's going to Tampa Bay. Next week, Titans defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz is coming to Houston to meet with him.

By the way, Routt's best game last season was against Miami when he limited receiver Sinorice Moss to one catch for 11 yards.
