When was the last time we traded up in the 1st round and for who?

I could be wrong but the last time for the 1st round would be 1991. We traded up to the overall #1 spot, hoping to get Rocket Ismail. He decided to go to Canada, so we took Russell Maryland instead.

I believe that we traded up to get David Lafleur in 1997. We swapped picks with the Eagles ( believe it or not). I don't know what we gave up, but it was a reach.

We traded up a few spots in 1999 with Seattle to ensure we nabbed our next great defensive end, Ebenezer Ekuban.

That worked out well.
