Yeah. This is a pretty weak class of defensive guys, and he's unquestionably the top at his position, which also happens to be super important to our defense.

Typo aside, it would be acceptable, but not ideal. I'd like drafting Richie Grant or Jevon Holland at 44, so I don't feel a strong need to force the pick in the first.

44 seems rich, but I've only watched two games of his, so maybe I'm too low on him. Either way, I am all the way out on drafting a 3 Tech. Even as low as I was on him upon drafting him, Trysten Hill was a 2nd round pick for us 2 years ago & I really liked Neville Gallimore who flashed as a rookie. Call me a fool, but I'd rather get a veteran safety blanket at 3 Tech than give up the prospect of our two young players.

Pretty much the same answer I gave for the Trevon Moehrig; I'd accept it, but I'm willing to wait to see who's on the board at 44.

Haven't watched him yet, but a quick search shows he is a safety, so he would have to be absolute trash not to play some snaps.

I have 0 interest in drafting skill position players not named Kyle Pitts with a day 2 pick. That being said, I've been watching some OT tape recently and I think there are going to be some solid options available in the third round.

This is a trick question. If the 49ers mistakenly draft Mac Jones at #3 overall, there's a chance a QB someone will covet will drop. If the 49ers draft someone else, then the QB available will likely be Mac Jones, so no one is going to try and trade up for him because why would you, it's Mac Jones.

Probably not.

I mean, the 49ers have already ruined the surprise if they pick Mac Jones. We're picking #10, so people not in the know are going to be shocked when we pick Zaven Collins. People have forgotten that Caleb Farley is arguably CB #1 in the class because of his injuries; all it takes is one team that's confident in their medical on him and they'll pick him. Aside from that, watch some team draft an edge defender out of the blue.

Amon St. Brown, Tylan Wallace would be hard to pass in the 3rd, too much value. I have very recent draft crushes on Stone Forsythe and Ben Cleveland. I like Davis MiIls, but this is the wrong year to draft a QB (4-year rookie deal when Dak is most likely here for 4 years)

Could easily be either. A QB just means the compensation will be more. A team might offer a smaller package for a WR to get ahead of the Giants and Eagles.10 looks prime for a really good WR so to answer OP's question, WR is probably more likely.

Yes, but only because as I said earlier, FO still believes Marinelli's ideas and wants a 1Tech with 3Tech-like abilities. He fits that some. Should he be a 3-down guy? No, no, no. Cowboys like to prove themselves right.
