Brugler, Broaddus and Tiny Jim.
They are running through some program (not fan speak) for a mock draft.
I missed the beginning so I am not sure if the premise was to try and trade up so they were hell bent on it or what. I just found it odd they did not talk about possibly trading down or sitting still.
So with that in mind.
They start talking about trading up for a CB after Jones went (Eagles took Jones and Waynes went earlier). They went through the scenario that they were afraid they would lose out on Johnson or Peters by waiting at 27 and they also said they are not even sure that the Cowboys like Peters. And they want to get ahead of the Steelers who they feel will be targeting Johhson.
So they start talking trade up.
They work out a deal with Cincy to trade up to 21 by trading away their 3rd round pick (#91) but getting back the Bengals 6th round pick (#197) to even out the trade value.
With the 21st pick in round one they select CB Kevin Johnson Wake Forest.
In the second round they See that Gordon and Gurly are gone in the first. Tevin Coleman has went off the board already and the Jags surprise them by taking Yeldon even before Coleman.
They think the Cowboys might be scared of the Knee Condition of Ajayi (he is available) so they decide to pass on him and Draft...
With the 60th pick in the second round the Cowboys select RB Duke Johnson Miami.
No third round pick.
4th round pick they take trade with another team (cannot remember who). They swap 4th round picks and give up the 6th round pick they had acquired earlier from Cincy.
With the 4th round pick (cannot remember who they traded with so I don't have the number) the Cowboys select Frank Clark DE Michigan.
With the fifth round pick (#163) the Cowboys select WR Ty Montgomery Stanford
With the 7th round pick (#236) the Cowboys Select DT Leterrius Walton Central Michigan
With the 7th round pick (#243) the cowboys select OT Lawrence Gibson Virginia Tech
