Draft start time?

According to the counter, the draft starts at 3:00 pm CST on Saturday the 25th. I can't seem to locate info online about this, but I really hope it is true. My little girls birthday (4) is that day and I woudl hate to miss it (her birthday).

Over the last couple of year the 1st overall pick was taken the day before the draft.

Actually, I am not entirely certain it does start at 3 pm. That is just what the main page counter reflects.

I assume this is a correct number, I just can't seem to verify it due to a complete lack of info on the internet (that I can find at least).

Can anyone confirm?

Yes, the league moved it back to 4pm EST this yr. Last yr it started at 3pm EST.

I hate it, last yr everyone knew who the first several picks were before the draft ever started because both ESPN and NFL Network had people getting that info and revealing it.

She will have many more B-Days.....she will eventually get over it and be fine. Good to see you have priorities....:laugh2:

I won't even turn the draft on for 2 or 3 hours. It excites me like crazy... when we have a first round pick. No, I'm not starring at a T.V for 3 hours to be disappointed. I'll tune in during the 2nd round.

I will have it on from the beginning, even sll the pre draft shows. But I will also have many other things I'll be doiong and working instead of just staring at the TV.

And if I need to go and do some things, there is the DVR.

There's something about not having a first round pick that dampens my enthusiasm over the draft too. I probably will tune in just because I like to see which teams are picking which players. But it would be more exciting if the Cowboys were in the first round.

Ugh. I hate that it doesn't start till 3pm. That's just plain stupid. That has the Cowboys not coming up probably until 5:30 or 6 pm when people are probably going about doing things with family and stuff on weekends.

They should have left it starting at 11am or Noon and not screwed with that part of it. Stupid NFL. Always trying to fix what isn't broke.

I love the draft, but i will tivo it. The 1st round has too much filler--sometimes I'm patient enough, sometimes I'm not. I think we'll have some surprises/trades within the 1st 8 picks. I'm real curious to see what Jax does at #8. Denver may want that pick for Sanchez.
