Draft status helper

That site (which I've used often) hasn't changed its introduction for the draft order in five years --

"Will your team 'win' the Reggie Bush Sweepstakes by receiving the overall number one pick in the NFL's year end draft? The NFL Draft Order table provides the probabilities of your team's selection order."

Patrick Peterson here Dallas comes!

I would love it, but I just have a feeling he'll be top 3, especially if Luck stays at Stanford.

If we beat Houston, and Arizona beat us, why on Earth would Arizona get a better pick, and we'd get a better pick than Houston?

Shouldn't it be Houston, Dallas, Arizona in that order?

Strength of schedule is the first tiebreaker. Nothing else applies unless the SOS is exactly the same.

Appreciate it. Here's hoping that's the last time we need to worry about that for a few years.

So what is the lowest we can pick and highest? I think 5 is the highest, right? I need to know how annoyed I should be if we decide to pull off some meaningless win and drop multiple spots. Yes, at this point, I am all about the draft choice. Nobody loves the Cowboys more than me (many on this board are tied I'm sure), but it's about our future. If 6-10 makes someone feel better than 5-11, then root your little head off. Having a valuable top 5 pick makes me feel better than #10 or something. To each his own.

If Philly wins tonight, they will have to play their starters against us right (still have a shot at #2 seed)? If they lose, do they still have a chance at the #2 seed or do they lose the tie-breaker to the Bears and possibly sit their best players against us?

How many draft picks do we have besides the first round?

I thought only one in each, plus an extra in the seventh from the Patrick Crayton trade.

Others with more knowledge of the situation will surely chime in.

Mathematically, 4th is the highest and 12th is the lowest.

Why can't the patriots draft 30th? I thought the SB winners and loser draft 31st and 32nd? If so, if the Patriots don't make it to the SB, wouldn't they then draft 29th / 30th?

Also, wouldn't all teams who make the playoffs have a theoretical chance of getting the 31st or 32nd pick?
