It’s way too early to say...but gut feeling right now is that it will be WR or S. Not that I particularly want a WR, but that’s where the talent seems likeliest to fall. AJ Brown, Deebo, or Campbell would all add a different dimension to the offense out of the slot.

I know it's just to help with the list, but those CBS ratings are notoriously bad.

They sure as crap better not take a WR at 58, especially if all they add along the DL in free agency is Covington and Thompson at S.

I was really hoping to see Austin’s pro day numbers and he didn’t participate. Is he hurt? If not, that’s concerning bc the report says questionable athlete.

I certainly would take Deebo Samuel. He is my number one target and I think that the talent level is best at the receiver position. Samuel is too good to pass up in my opinion and guys like Parris Campbell, N'Keal Harry, and Hakeem Butler would be hard to pass on as well. Now if Samuel is gone, I would be real happy with Taylor Rapp. I would be upset if they passed on Samuel and he went to the Eagles.

Still not sure how I feel about Irv Smith. TE just doesn't feel like as big of a need any more with Gregory getting suspended and Dallas missing out on Earl Thomas, and Irv's stats and measurables don't really blow me away. That being said, Alabama guys usually come in to the league ready to play, so I think he's a pretty high floor guy. I just wish he had a higher ceiling.

As far as later halfback targets, I like Alexander Mattison out of Boise State. I know, Broncos homer checking in, but Boise State has had a lot of success developing those squatty "muscle hamster" power backs like Doug Martin and Jay Ajayi. Mattison doesn't have enough juice to start, but he's a good inside runner who can block and receive well enough to be a true #2 if Zeke were to go down.
