Yea, didn't read the article, but if we were interested in signing Wilkerson or trading for him, why sign Thorton? I do realize Wilkerson is way better, but how exactly do we justify the salaries for both players when Marenelli clearly doesn't think the 1 tech is an important role?

Agreed, very pricey. Article was stating swap of 1st rounders, so Dallas would end up with Wilkerson and Jets 1st round pick #20. Interesting if say a Dodd, Butler, Ogbah, Treadwell, or Lynch was still there.

Wilkerson is a beast. Probably better than any DL we could take in entire draft. Plus we get their first rd pick. Hmmmmm
