Draft visits analysis

Made a spreadsheet based on who they talked to and where they are slotted on the big boards.

Keep in mind this is ONLY based on visits.

Kinlaw, Henderson, and Chaisson are really the only 3 guys that they are considering for that 17th pick. If none of those guy are there, or possibly if Kinlaw or Henderson arent there then I would say they are going to look to trade back in the first round and pick up extra picks. Then they could possibly use that extra 3rd round pick to move up in the 2nd round.

CB is clearly the highest priority and they want to come away with a CB in one of the first two rounds. If they trade back in the first, it would most likely be to target a CB late in the first.

They are definitely contemplating WR with that 2nd round pick and then into the 3rd. Could trade up in the 2nd if a really talented one falls out of the first round.

Safety doesnt seem to be high on their list from the visit list as some may have thought. Neither does center or OL.

Hurts might be the only QB they contemplate if he slips into the 4th round.

TE is pretty much an afterthought and wont address until late in the draft.

Yah, this is just based on the visits so far. I know some of you guys are hoping for a WR with the first pick, but so far, it doesnt look that way. Now of course they could be bluffing. Or they could interview one of the top 3 guys between now and then.

Even taking into account combine interviews we haven't looked at Jeudy, Ruggs, or Lamb. However, you have to ask where they might value Mims. Mims has gotten alot of 1st round projections.

We just don't know how they rank some of these players. How many 1st rd grades do they have? Do they have a 1st rd grade on Diggs/Fulton? Perhaps they have a WR past the top 3 as a 1st rd player.

How do you know who the Cowboys are considering with the 17th pick? Are you Jerrah’s third son?

Pittman and Kamler are late 2nd round grades.

they interviewed no receivers thus far past the 2nd round grade. Pittman was ranked around 70 and he was the lowest ranked one.

That's what I've been thinking. Edge guys and CBs are expensive in free agency so not replacing Jones really points to the draft for a good one.

Ya especially at WR.

Most seem to have Aiyuk and Reagor as #5 and #6 behind Jefferson and Mims. But In have seen both as 1st rounders too
