Draft week buzz

Asked some NFL personnel evaluators for Day 1 sleepers (Rd 2 prospects with chance to sneak into 1).

A few mentioned:

Arizona S/NCB Treydan Stukes: 'Under the radar but really freaking good'

Ga Tech OG Keylan Rutledge: 'An O-line coach's dream. A dirtball.'

Oklahoma EDGE R Mason Thomas: 'Pass rushers go, and he's got pass rush juice. He can go.'

The Stukes is growing on me.

Delane - Faulk - Rodriguez would be excellent
That would be terrific but it would take a lot of luck and at least one trade.

Delane projects before 12. Faulk *might* be there at 20 and Rodrigue should go before 50.

This kinda makes more sense than some of the other trade ups

Chiefs need oline bad and one of the two top OTs and all of the guards will be there at 12

They also have 29, 40 and 74, all of which are terrific value so the two teams could get something going

So we trade 12 and 20 for 9, 29 and a 4th?
That would sorta work . The fourth would be 109 and to make it match nearly exact we might need to give up #180

If we want to trade out of 12, the Chiefs make a good partner for that as well, assuming they actually have someone they are hot for at #9 and #12. Their first pick, whenever it is, is likely going to be o-line

Dallas: #12 (1,200) and #180 (19)
For
KC: #29 (640), #40 (500), and #109 (76)

That way we get someone like Faulk at #20, Hood at #29 and Rodriguez at #40

Pretty sweet imo

Then take BPA at #109

I think Revel is your future #1 if you draft either. Imo a healthy Revel would have been a better prospect than both. Not a knock on them, I like them both. Hood is the CB to get of you are going to draft one at 12. Probably closer to Delane than Cisse and Johnson are to him. Better prospect than a healthy Revel would have been, and your future #1

Aquib Talib just said hood is the best press cb in the draft. Not that I needed him to cosign it but Hood is that guy if you want to play press.

I was hoping that Styles might remain ‘under the radar’ but that dream looks to be over.

I wonder what the reason is for his late rise?

Did people suddenly discover his film?
