And if they don’t take the best defensive tackle at 12
Trade down. Take a wide receiver. Take the second best running back.

Yes you have so many questions. I wake up, and see this. What a way to start the day.

Allow me to get a sip of coffee in. ....., there, ok, have NFLN on and will switch to ESPN as well, and one of the financial channels.
I am hoping for a small trade down, get an extra pick, or if a trade down a little further get 2 extra picks in the 1st 4 rounds.
Maybe we will get 2 small trade downs. Get 3 extra picks.

However, there will be a reach, and will be a head scratcher, may be another day 3 trade, where they trade a 2026 higher pick to get a 5th or 6th round player (probably a reach). Maybe they will surprise us, package some late round pucks to move up int the 4th or 5th.

And. We will be told how they got value.

True. Hopefully this week will seem to go quick. I have a busy day, so at least today will seem to go by quick.
Will be at the bar watching the draft with my Steelers friend. She has been wearing Steelers stuff all week. She will be decked out Thursday night.

I will wear my Cowboys stuff. Well we both most of the time have something on about our teams.
A GB fan will have her GB stuff on. A few other Dallas fans will have their gear on as well.

It should be a fun few nights. Especially if the Steelers trade up with Cowboys and take Sanders. She does not want that. I been telling the past week about it.

Why do you start off making me not like you then you end your points making me love someone else than my buddy!!!

Those extra picks you speak of would be helpful!!! It would make things really interesting and it would be good to show that we're aggressive, but in hopes they get quality pieces

Lately, the Cowboys have been pretty transparent when it comes to their 1st round leanings. Pay attention to what the Dallas media is saying regarding certain players. If the talk about Golden continues over the next couple days, and it is coming from local media, believe it.

If the local media talks talking about a trade back scenario, believe it. The FO has been leaking their intentions a lot lately.

Lately, the Cowboys have been pretty transparent when it comes to their 1st round leanings. Pay attention to what the Dallas media is saying regarding certain players. If the talk about Golden continues over the next couple days, and it is coming from local media, believe it.

If the local media talks talking about a trade back scenario, believe it. The FO has been leaking their intentions a lot lately.

You can't do that around here, people bash the local media too much and they're the ones who are closely connected!

I'll say it again, overdrafting a wr at 12 is a terrible plan. Unless that guy is Randy Moss or something very close, no way I'm doing that. Our needs are so dire elsewhere. The caveat is this, if we are true to our draft board and a wr happens to be the bpa on our board, then either draft that guy or trade back. So I'm ok with wr but don't love it. I just want us to follow our board. Shotty has been saying this over and over btw. Follow our board. If we do this, I trust him.

Well my dear we're a little too high up in the draft this year for us to draft someone we shouldn't be even looking at. If we were lower like in the 20's I'd , agree, you better not mess it up either way, just look at the last two first round picks we've had
