Byrd is most likely going to get the franchise tag from the Bills. To get him, we'd have to trade away picks and even as great as our needs are at safety, we can't afford to trade away picks. Byrd wants to be the highest paid safety in the NFL and this team is already cap challenged. Adding another high priced contract, even if we could, just wouldn't make sense especially when you consider Tyron and Dez will be commanding a healthy increase to their salaries in the next year. This team needs to make solid choices and build through the draft.

I can't see this occurring, but I would be really happy if this happened, although I was hoping for Notre Dame guy earlier than the 7th round

The only one I can't see happening is Donald at our 2nd round pick but I've seen stranger things.

I'd take that all day if we found a FS in the FA market.
I do think there's a real chance Donald falls close or into the 2nd rd...but not to 42. A trade up might get him though.

I think Donald falls some as well. Would like a trade back in the first and pick up Donald and Easley while still getting Ealy in the first. But i'm wishful thinking

Really like Powell. Has all the traits of a leader and can really rush the passer. Would be a 1-3 round prospect if not for injury

No problem, as you probably read T.J. Ward might leave for free agency so Byrd would then get an extra look from Cleveland. If Ward doesn't leave then it won't happen obviously.
