They are not drafting a center early regardless, if at all. They have 3 guys that could play center on the roster already.

I wanted to sign him as a FA. He had a career kinda similar to Kareem Jackson where it took him a fee years to reach a high level of play. Bama has been a pretty DB factory, but they have some funny career trajectories sometimes

Dude has been a part of one of the worst secondaries over the past few years.

Decent cover skills still, brings a ton of penalties in critical times, and is a major liability tackling.

Would be ok depth, but not sure I'd take him over what we have.

the team around him was junk. He was up against it in FB Siberia. He has a chance to jumpstart his career in Dallas .

Well they definitely fell apart for sure lol. Sometimes with situations like that veterans suffer because of the culture. They have nothing to play for.

You gotta have 4 playable guys at CB IMO. Would be nice to bump Canady to a 5th CB/ST role

I believe that we are mostly done in free agency and will not sign another CB. As Byron Jones said in an interview, DAL FO let him go not because he cost too much but because FO (and Byron) believe they have enough talented CBs. DAL likes the trio of Awuzie, Brown and Lewis. Added Goodwin and Canaday as depth and ST. And FO will draft at CB in round 1-3, and maybe another late. That will be 6-7 CBs. For better or worse, there is no room in FO’s mind for a guy like Dre, Logan Ryan, Aqib Talib, etc.

No not at all. There's no centers in the draft that I believe are better prospects than McGovern.
