Dreadful Draft Grades

I know this article is old but it makes my point of grading drafts. Julio Jones was really graded at a “C” and Bruce Irving an “F”, and etc., etc., etc...

Mob mentality works both ways, doesn't it?

The real draft grades come in 2-3 years from now. Looking back and grading the draft based on how the players turned out.

The draft grade immediately following the draft is just based on prospect value. If you draft someone that was a first round grade in the 2nd, or draft someone in the 4th that had a 2nd round grade, you're going to get a better draft grade. Or if your could have drafted all of your day two picks on day three, the opposite. That's how I see it.
