We trade #9 to the Rams for #14 and #78. Its no secret that the Rams want Julio Jones and he should be there at #9.
#14- Tyron Smith- OT USC- Everybody knows him by now....I see the 1st 13 going like this in order for Smith to drop to 14.
Car- Newton
Den- Dareus
Buf- Gabbert
Cinci- Green
AZ- Miller
Cle- Peterson
SF- Quinn
Ten- Fairley
Stl- Jones
Wash- Jordan/Aldon Smith(3-4 defense)
Hou- Jordan/Aldon Smith(whoever wash doesnt pick)
Min- Locker
Det- Prince
As the title states this is a dream scenario for us, but its really not that far fetched at all either. The hardest to predict was Wash and Hou back to back, but they both will need help on their 3-4 defense switch and Aldon Smith/Cam Jordan are the best available options.
#40- Aaron Williams/Bradon Harris/Ras-Dowling- In that order...It was obvious last year that we need secondary help. #40 should be the best available corner and I think these 3 are the top of the bunch that will be available here
#71- Kenrick Ellis DT Hampton- Top talent for a guy his size that started out at South Carolina, but later got kicked off. There were no other character issues that popped up at Hampton that should make him that much of a red flag. Getting a huge run stuffing 3-4 NT should make a huge difference in Ryan's D.
#78- John Moffit OG Wisconsin- Polished as they come out of college. Smart and hard working. Could very well be ready to start from day 1.
#110- Greg Jones ILB Mich St- Fast ILB thats good in coverage and always around the ball. Perfect to mold behind Brooking and James until he is ready in 2 years or so.
#143- Terrel McClain- DT/DE- 6'2 291 and ran a 4.82 40. More depth for our d-line at end.
#176- Mario Fannin- RB Aub- 3rd stringer at Aub that didnt see a whole lot of time, but hes 5'10 230 and ran a 4.37 40. Strong straight ahead runner that can get the rough short yardage that was Barbers job.
#220- Mitch Mustain QB USC- Was once a top prospect at Arkansas before he moved to USC and couldnt get playing time. Probably would have been a 5th rounder or so had he not gotten in trouble recently. Hes worth a shot in the last round given the fact that hes got NFL tools with his size and arm.
