I just wanted to get a feel for whatever everyone else thought about BP's decision to only take 7 Olinemen to the game on Sunday and activate Green, Hurd, Austin AND Curtis all for the Texans game.
I feel like he did it to get them some PT against a team he felt we should beat.. basically reducing the risk.
How did you think they did and who do you want active against the Giants this week?
I can't see them bringing all of them active again... Having Polite, Nate Jones inactive, I'm not sure if that is to our advantage.. and then you have Carpenter, Proctor or McQuistan who could also be considered.
I think Hurd is playing pretty well.. except for the facemasks
Green.. Incomplete.. really need to see more
Curtis.. seemed to play ok.. but is is limited.. Polite may give you more plays
Austin.. didn't really stand out to me.. made one decent ST play.
When Flozell stayed down for a minute on that one play I started thinking about the oline.. if Fabini comes in for one of the tackles there is no back up at tackle.. I feel if one of the inside guys goes down you have Al Johnson.. and then Fabini I think could be a second level backup inside..
It's hard to activate a guy.. to sit on the bench just in case... not sure if I want to see Kosier playing LT(I'm assuming/guessing that's what they would do).. then again McQ may not be much better..
